Sisters (9" x 6", pencil)

The girl looking into the water is modelled on my dear friend Holly Finnen, who is, to all intents and purposes, my sister (and whose hair is considerably longer than that). The water and seal are gleaned from a trip to the Chicago Oceanarium. Unfortunately, that means the seal's a harbour seal - in proper folklore, selkies were supposed to be the larger grey seals, and the harbour seals only animals. (No, I'm never anal about these things).
